I got [Renegade Audio Design]'s Flatline in the mail today. I must say, as someone who isn't particularly discerning or learned about gear, it's SO weird having a neutrally tuned earphone with what feels like a pretty significant subbass boost. I love bass, so clearly hearing the sub but not the meaty mid bass frequencies still throws for me a loop... Very cool, well worth the money I spent.
...if these things had been released a year [ago]... , it would have been the talk of the flathead community...
The only thing that the Flatline falls behind is....the price :/
I bought mine for 130 USD, with [Renegade Audio Design] indicating it may increase due to tariffs. The money doesn't matter to me, but might for others. Pretty dang good, especially with how light they are...

As a hobbyist sound engineer, and known terminal audiophile, the Phantom line is what I will recommend in the future to associates.
The quality is on par, if not better than the Valve Index headphones, which are notably some of the best casual headphones out there. But the Phantoms pack more of a punch when it comes to the base. On top of that, the price is less than half of what you would pay for similar quality buds. Keeping the price fair, along with having good quality parts is a tradition lost in this age of planned obsolescence.
